True Strength Awareness

Lakota West High School’s HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) chapter is proud to announce that they are carrying the torch for True Strength Ability Awareness, an initiative started by Ross High School!

This inspiring program aims to promote inclusivity and celebrate the “real All-Stars” – the amazing students in Lakota West’s Special Education department.

Lakota West has fully embraced the True Strength message. Soon, they’ll be hosting their own special celebration night, with proceeds going towards supporting the needs, desires, and challenges faced by Special Education departments across the country.

Mark your calendars! More details about the True Strength Night happening in January will be announced soon.

In the meantime, be sure to follow and share True Strength’s social media pages (https://linktr.ee/truestrengthorg) to stay updated!

The True Strength team is eager to connect with other schools looking to create a more inclusive environment, from the student section to the hallways. Remember, “When many see disabilities, we see opportunity!”
