True Strength Awareness

After being drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015, Jordan Hicks, a Texas University alumnus, was deeply moved by a 2016 article titled ‘True Strength.’ Written by Julie Bacanskas, the Eagles’ social media director, the article highlighted the inspiring friendship between Jordan and Greg Osinski, who lived with muscular dystrophy. This story, showcasing the daily courage of those with disabilities, became the foundation for Jordan’s ‘True Strength’ initiative. Our mission is to spread this message nationwide, celebrating the resilience of youth and fostering mutual learning. We invite you to share this story, donate, host a ‘True Strength’ event at your school, and follow us on social media to honor our true strength heroes. We extend our sincere gratitude to Julie Bacanskas for her inspiring work, and to all those who contribute to making the world a better place. “When many see disability, we see opportunity”!
